Meet our Stirling Montessori Staff — a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence. From educators to support staff, each member of our team plays a vital role in creating a positive and enriching experience for our students. Shweta Mishra – Casa Teacher

Shweta joined Stirling as a new Montessori-trained graduate in 2018. She was mentored by Mrs. Ruzzier and Mrs. Wajih to become a Lead Casa teacher. Shweta’s warm and friendly nature allows the children to easily connect with her and flourish in the classroom.

 


Haritha Thatiparthi – Casa Teacher

Haritha joined the Stirling team in 2021 working in the Elementary classroom, and as a supply teacher in the Casa program. She upgraded her skills by enrolling and completing the Montessori Teacher Training Program. Haritha has worked in our Casa classrooms as a co-teacher where she happily applies her Montessori skills.


Ashliegh Smith – Casa Teacher

Ashliegh joined the Stirling community first as a parent and in 2023 as a teacher. As a trained Montessori teacher she is able to bring both the parent and teacher perspectives to her classroom. Her warm teaching style and sense of humour create a joyful and connected classroom experience for her students.

 


Sadaf Irshad – Casa Teacher

Sadaf is a trained Montessori teacher who returned to Canada in June 2023 after teaching in Pakistan for 7 years. Her family settled in Milton and we’re thrilled that she brings her international Montessori knowledge to our Casa students.


Saadiya Iqbal – Casa Teacher

Saadiya brings us her experience as a trained Montessori teacher, Psychology student and parent. Joining the teaching team in 2024, Saadiya’s gentle and educated presence is a welcome addition to our staff.

 


Corrie Lyn Taylor – Casa Teacher

Corrie Lyn is returning to teaching after a break to raise her own children. As a trained Montessori teacher she brings over 13 years of classroom teaching experience to Stirling. Her warm personality allows for instant connections with students and their families. Her students will benefit from her experienced teaching style and cosy classroom environment.


Andrea Lima – Lower Elementary Teacher

Andrea is a long-standing and invaluable member of the Stirling team. As an AMI and CMTEI trained Montessori Teacher, she began teaching in the Casa Program under the mentorship of Mrs. Ruzzier. Andrea’s natural warmth and love for teaching, allowed her to become a sought after teacher by many families. After a brief break to start her own family, she returned to her role as Lower Elementary Teacher where she brings many years of experience and knowledge of the Montessori curriculum to her students.


Kathryn Preisner – Elementary Teacher/Music Teacher

Kathryn’s love of piano and singing spans many years. She is a graduate of Queen’s University where she obtained her B.A (Hons) in Music. She obtained her RCM certifications (Level 9 Piano and Level 10 voice) and performed in various musical theatre productions and chamber choirs. Kathryn has worked as a private instructor, director, musical director, and school music teacher. Kathryn is also a CMTEI trained Montessori Elementary teacher and will be working with the older Elementary students this year.


Marie Blouin – French Teacher

Mme. Marie has taught French in private schools for over 25 years. Her passion for the French language and love for sharing French with her students is contagious. She has been connected with Stirling since 2014 and will be the Casa and Elementary French teacher this year.

 


Shanel Scott – Administrative Supervisor

Shanel runs a highly organized and efficient office. Her administrative and customer service skills combined with her ability to seamlessly transition into a classroom make her the perfect administrator for our schools. Shanel has a background in government administration, managing small businesses and IT/Tech, and she teaches dance, yoga. We feel fortunate to have her supporting our school, programs and the Stirling community.
